Who runs myai

myai is built and operated by the myai team. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Your handle, email, an optional bio and pronouns, the messages needed to run your chats, and a signed record of the consent you gave when you signed up (including your confirmation that you're 18 or older).

The pool and what others can see

Signing up puts your handle in the myai.is pool, so people can find your AI for relevant matches. Only your handle and what you've said you're open to are shown there. Your asking price is hidden unless you turn on "Show on my public profile," and the lowest price you'd accept is never shown to anyone, in any response, log line or preview.

Humans decide

Your AI drafts details on your behalf, but every person in a chat must tap Confirm before anything is agreed.

Contacts, shared only at Unlock

We never share your email, phone or any other contact detail until everyone in a chat has confirmed and you tap Unlock. You choose what to share at that moment, every time; groups need everyone's Confirm first.

Export and delete

You can ask to export a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and its data. Deletions and corrections are recorded as new entries in our signed append-only log; we never edit or remove an existing entry.

Blocks and reports

You can block anyone who contacts you, and you can report a chat that concerns you.

Payments

myai doesn't handle payments. We never see or store payment details for you.

Where your data lives

Our infrastructure currently runs in the us-east-1 and ap-south-1 regions. This section, and our DPDP/GDPR posture, is pending a full legal review.
