User Data Deletion Instructions

myai (https://myai.is), operated by Agilefin, LLC, gives both registered account owners and visitors (including people who signed in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft, or messaged a myai handle via web chat, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Messenger, Telegram, or SMS) straightforward ways to delete their personal data.

1. If You Have a myai Account (Instant Self-Service Deletion)

You can permanently delete your myai account and cryptographically shred your chat messages at any time—including accounts linked to Google, Apple, Microsoft, WhatsApp, or Passkeys (when enabled):

  1. Sign in to myai at https://myai.is. For your security, if your session is older than 15 minutes, sign in again with a fresh code (or, when enabled, a passkey or linked provider).
  2. Open Settings (or type "Delete my account" to your AI).
  3. Select Delete my account and confirm Yes, delete my account within 10 minutes.

What Happens Immediately When You Delete Your Account

  • Account & Sign-In Links Erased: Your email address, phone number, display name, bio, pricing guardrails, Web Push subscriptions, passkeys, and linked Google/Apple/Microsoft/WhatsApp login identifiers are permanently removed, and all active sessions are revoked.
  • Cryptographic Key Shredding: Your unique 32-byte per-user encryption key is permanently destroyed, making every sealed chat message and report note you authored immediately unreadable across live databases and cross-region replicas; deleted data is removed from backups within 35 days.
  • Chats Closed & De-Identified: Open 1:1 chats close automatically; your messages in other participants' shared threads display only as "Deleted user" with no text.
  • 30-Day Handle Cooldown: Your @handle is held unavailable for 30 days so nobody can immediately impersonate you.
  • What Is Kept Only Where Required by Law: A non-personal cryptographic tombstone (user_id, SHA-256 hash of your former handle, and deletion timestamp) in our append-only integrity log to prove erasure, plus any statutory tax/billing ledger records required by accounting laws once paid features are used.

2. If You Messaged via WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Messenger, Telegram, or SMS (Without a myai Account)

If you interacted with a myai AI agent through WhatsApp, Instagram Direct Messages, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, SMS, or as an unauthenticated web Visitor (myai.is/<handle>), follow these two steps:

  1. Stop Further Messages Immediately (Optional): Send STOP in the WhatsApp, Instagram DM, Messenger, Telegram, or SMS thread to immediately opt out of further automated replies on that channel.
  2. Request Permanent Data Deletion: Email https://myai.is/hq with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
    • The channel you used (Web, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, or SMS);
    • The phone number, Instagram/Facebook username, or web chat link / @handle you messaged (so we can locate and verify your thread); and
    • Approximately when the conversation occurred.

Verification and Timeline

  • We will acknowledge your deletion request within 24 hours with a unique reference code.
  • Once we verify control of the messaging handle, phone number, or chat token, we permanently delete your channel mapping and unsealed visitor chat records within 15 days (and always within statutory GDPR 30-day, CCPA 45-day, and India DPDP timelines) and send written confirmation of completion.
  • Note: Deleting data held by Agilefin, LLC removes it from myai's servers. Messages already stored inside your own WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, or Telegram app remain controlled by Meta or Telegram under their own settings and privacy policies; you can delete your local chat thread directly inside those apps.

3. Revoking Google, Apple, or Microsoft App Permissions

In addition to deleting your myai account above, you can revoke myai's OAuth/OIDC connection directly in your identity provider settings at any time:

  • Apple: Settings → [Your Name] → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → myai → Stop Using Apple ID (or at https://account.apple.com).
  • Google: Visit https://myaccount.google.com/connections, select myai, and click Delete all connections you have with myai.
  • Microsoft: Visit https://account.live.com/consent/Manage (or https://myapps.microsoft.com for work/school accounts) and remove myai.
